In 2020, we wrote the first edition of this guidebook to answer a single, pressing question we received from growers everywhere: “What exactly is regenerative farming?”
As the term grew in popularity, many struggled to understand what “soil-centric farming” actually looked like in real, everyday operations. To clear the confusion, we teamed up with our research partners to map out 20 core regenerative farming practices based on the real-world management of Klompe Farm—a large-scale, 350-hectare arable partner farm in the Netherlands.
Now, after six additional years of rigorous proof-of-practice trials, field research, and continuous learning, we are opening the playbook even further.
